Better briefs for your AI tools
Most people speak about three times faster than they type, so a spoken prompt carries the context you’d skip when typing. Hold the shortcut in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or your editor’s AI chat, explain what you want, let go.
Works in your editor
Lafza pastes at the cursor, so VS Code, JetBrains IDEs like Rider, and anything else with a text cursor work without a plugin. Pick any shortcut, and turn Lafza off for an app in two clicks if you need its keys.
Your stack, your key
- Bring a key for Groq, OpenAI or Deepgram for speech.
- The clean-up pass can use any OpenAI-compatible endpoint or Anthropic, with the model you choose.
- Keys live in Windows Credential Manager or macOS Keychain; nothing goes through a Lafza server.
- Logs never contain your text or keys.
Questions
Will the clean-up pass change code words?
It tidies grammar and punctuation, and every change it makes can be put back with one click. When you want your exact words, turn polish off in Settings.
Can I use a local or self-hosted model for the clean-up?
The clean-up pass talks to any OpenAI-compatible chat endpoint, so a server you run yourself works if it speaks that API.
